Job Summary

The Child and Adolescent Clinic is looking for a Clinical Coordinator that will have administrative/supervisory responsibilities in order to oversee two existing clinical programs offered within the clinic and also will provide direct patient care. This is an ideal position for an individual with a strong clinical background with an interest in pursuing some leadership/supervisory responsibilities in addition to providing direct patient care.

Job Responsibilities

  • A full-time, licensed clinician who has had clinical experience in working with children and adolescents across a continuum of behavioral health concerns.
  • Conduct initial evaluations to provide appropriate assessment of and develop evidence-based individual, group, and family-based interventions for children/adolescents (and their families).
  • Provide ongoing individual, group, and/or family therapy for adolescents and their families.
  • 8-10 hours of administrative and supervisory responsibilities for two existing clinical programs within the Child and Adolescent Clinic.
    • Direct oversight of TF-CBT (Trauma-focused CBT) programming within Child & Adolescent Clinic.  More specifically, will coordinate TF-CBT implementation and monitoring of training, supervision and PIE data management (training will be made available).
    • Responsible for coordinating, expanding, and supervising the STEP (Short-Term Enhanced Programming) program, which is a comprehensive bridging service to provide supportive clinical care while awaiting the next service.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD licensed to practice in the state of CT.
  • Ability to meet requirements for internal credentialing in individual and group or family therapy required.
  • Demonstrates competencies, including knowledge and behaviors, to meet age specific patient needs.
  • Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead staff, prior management experience preferred but not required
