Shift Details: Day time hospitalist
The William W. Backus Hospital seeks two full-time Hospitalists to work at The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT and Windham Hospital in Willimantic, CT. Duties include: Accepting admission for all adult patients presenting to hospital for admission; timely meeting healthcare needs of patients and families; and working with ED and community physicians to optimize patient care. Requires occasional travel to Windham Hospital. This position requires travel to Windham Hospital, as needed, based on patient care and staffing needs.
Minimum requirements: possession of M.D. or its foreign equivalent; completion of three-year residency in internal medicine; board eligibility or certification in internal medicine; and the possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
