Hartford HealthCare is seeking a talented Marketing and Communications Manager to develop, manage, execute and measure marcom strategies for several highly visible service lines/centers of excellence—including the Connecticut Orthopaedic Institute and the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute. In this critical  role, you’ll work closely with Institute leadership and an award-winning, attention-getting system-wide marcom team to:

  • Develop and conduct marketing initiatives that gains attention and create awareness and loyalty
  • Lead and support marketing efforts that showcase clinical experts, programs and consumer access to an array of services to a diverse audience
  • Devise strategies with our Digital Team to create, deploy and track efforts
  • Measure and adjust marketing and communications strategies, and recommend new plans and approaches
  • Bring forward opportunities for growth, improved visibility, brand recognition, and customer service
  • Identify opportunities for system marketing and communications platforms, such as media integrations, e-newsletters, podcasts, social media and website updates


You’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, marketing communications or a related field
  • At least three years of progressive experience in planning, marketing, communications, market research or a health-related discipline
  • Strong writing skills
  • Proven strength in communicating to multiple audiences: physicians and providers, customers and consumers, and experience in presenting complex information simply
