Department Description:
CareConnect is a Hartford HealthCare (HHC) program focused on the implementation and maintenance of the Epic electronic health record across the organization. This team implements and supports clinical aspects of the electronic health record, such as intraoperative and anesthesia documentation across HHC. Preference will be given to individuals with prior Epic experience in ITS or Operations. Travel to Epic’s corporate office in Madison, WI may be required.
Position Summary:
The OpTime - Anesthesia Application Analyst works to design, configure & test pre-operative, intraoperative, post-operative, and anesthesia documentation and workflows. They support workflow analysis, design and build sessions with informatics partners, Subject Matter Experts and instructional designers. They work under the direction of the Application Team Lead, Application Manager, and Application Director. The analyst will follow internal CareConnect build, change control and issue management policies and procedures. They complete in depth and precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications and application functionality to deliver on expected outcomes. Attention to detail and customer focus are critical skills for this position.
Successful candidates enjoy helping others learn and adopt usage of the application. They will work closely with system vendors, consultants, and technical services of any given affiliate to ensure product development, implementation, and enhancements meet user specifications.
