The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.
Responsibilities
Assures provision of quality nutritional care to hospital patients by assessing nutritional status and developing care plan in conjunction with medical and nursing personnel. Monitors patients' ongoing nutritional status. Provides nutritional instruction to patient, families and various community groups. Collects quality improvement data and evaluates it to provide quality nutritional service. Provides guidance and direction to diet technicians in performance of daily work activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics.
Current Registered Dietitian with American Dietetic Association Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Current CT Dietitian Licensure required.
Minimum 1 to 3 years clinical experience.
