The Manager of Cardiac Cath Labs, will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of Cardiac Cath Labs. This is accomplished by direct action, delegation, coaching and support of unit-based shared governance councils. This position will have a strong clinical focus and is responsible for providing overall operational leadership, with an intense focus on patient quality and safety outcomes, patient experience and staff engagement. The role will also be responsible for maintaining radiation safety requirements and an active participation with ongoing research. Hartford Hospital’s Cardiac Cath Lab is a busy and exciting Lab which is comprised of 5 Cath Lab Suites, a 5 bay holding area, 14 bay pre and post procedure recovery area as well as 2 Arrhythmia Suites. The Cath Lab Clinical Manager is supported by 4 clinical leaders covering all areas. This position does have 24 hour accountability and will work collaboratively with the Nursing Director of Cath Lab and Medical Director of Cardiac Cath Lab. Bachelor's degree Nursing, Masters preferred.
5 years relevant experience working Cath Labs and/or cardiac Procedural Areas
Licensure, Certification, Registration
BLS certification, ACLS preferred.
CT State license
