Through our dedicated, experienced and skilled clinicians, we provide patients and their families with the highest quality of personalized care. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services.

Job Summary

Performs multi-dimensional administrative tasks that require creativity and independent, discretionary judgment to meet the needs of a manager or function. Coordinates the day-to-day administration of the academic, operational and financial activities of one Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) residency training program in collaboration with the Program Director (PD)/Associate Program Directors (APD), the Hartford Hospital  GME Office, and attending physicians.  All activities are performed in accordance with ACGME guidelines and the  Hartford Hospital policies.   Also serves as Site Coordinator (Hartford Hospital) for the UConn General Psychiatry Residency Program, the UConn 3rd year medical student Psychiatry Clerkship and the 4th year medical student electives in psychiatry at the IOL and HH.  May act on behalf of superior on routine matters within established guidelines. Reports to assigned manager.


  • High School diploma required, additional education preferred
  • Three years previous secretarial experience with an additional two years of education beyond High School or two years of high level secretarial experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of the Personal Computer.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High degree of confidentiality.
