We are seeking a highly-driven, passionate and caring professional to join our family of providers, nurses, research staff and other healthcare professionals committed scientific progress and bringing the newest treatments forward to our community.

Job Summary:
The Clinical Research Assistant will work with the Principal Investigators.  Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:

  • Clinical data abstraction and entry: Collect clinical data from patient charts and electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC, Sunrise, AllScripts).
  • Enter data into Access-based data registries in support of large-scale retrospective research studies in nephrology, bladder cancer, prostate cancer and other urological conditions.
  • Preparation of manuscripts and presentations: May perform literature reviews, summarize/interpret data, prepare reports using MS Office applications, develop PowerPoint slides for and participate in presentations at professional meetings.
  • Preparation of research protocols: May help draft research protocols for approval by the Hartford Hospital Institutional Review Board.



  • Associates Degree

• 2 year’s experience with clinical competence with patient related measurements and high degree of accuracy with respect to documentation and data collection
