At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years.  We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual.  

 

The Account Analyst reports to the Business Office Manager and will interact with members of the community including colleagues, residents and family members.   Responsibilities include:

 

• Accounts Receivable Collections and Follow-up
• Posting Cash Receipts
• Managed Care insurance and private billing
• Maintaining resident trust
• Additional activities as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

• High School graduate or equivalent
• One year or more experience in medical billing
• Experience in Skilled Nursing strongly desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel
• Strong organizational skills
• Special attention to detail
