The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization. With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.
Provides Epic Data Courier Support to Applications team members.
Performs Data Courier and Change Control Remediation daily tasks.
Follows Data Courier Daily Audit Report Process and follows up with analysts on any discrepancies.
Tracks remediation efforts.
Updates Data Courier Daily Audit Report workbook.
Supports Epic’s content management Tool related activities.
Supports change control processes & helps to facilitate Epic Change Control bi-weekly meeting
Prepares and distributes pre & post meeting report.
Troubleshoots data migration-related problems.
Reviews new Epic upgrades and releases, including testing any special utilities.
Position will be responsible for after-hours call to support urgent moves as well as occasional weekend and evening hours for project go-lives and support.
Supports ITS applications testing efforts.
Works within HHC PMO parameters for project work.
Exhibits ITIL fundamentals knowledge.
Serves as liaison between the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and Integrated Build Workgroup (IBW).
Working knowledge of Citrix, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Office. Exposure to clinical applications and Visio recommended.
Utilizes project management abilities for cross-team & internal projects.
Reports to Team Lead
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and one (1) year of related experience. Work experience may substitute for minimum education requirement.
1+ years of related work experience, healthcare experience is preferred.
Previous work experience in an IT setting
Licensure, Certification, Registration
Epic certification in Data Courier preferred
Position will require achieving Epic certification within 3 months of hire.
