Hartford HealthCare has a new opportunity available for a Urogynecology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient services in Hartford County.

  • The APP helps with all aspects of patient care; including diagnosis, treatment, and consultation. Working in collaboration with physician lead; the advanced practitioner is responsible for providing physician quality care to patients within the Urogynecology practice (the practice of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery; FPMRS).  The APP will provide care in the treatment and management of female urinary disorders, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, and other female pelvic disorders. 
  • Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and management of urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, urinary retention, urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, fecal incontinence, or defecatory dysfunction.


Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in CT is required. Eligibility to be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required for Nurse Practitioners. 2 year of APP practice experience within women’s health OB/GYN is required.
