Hartford HealthCare has a new opportunity available for a Breast Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primarily outpatient services at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, located in Bridgeport, CT.  

 

Some highlights of this opportunity include:

  • The Breast Surgery Advanced Practitioner works in a hospital outpatient department providing primarily follow up consultations for breast surgery patients for several surgeons. Inpatient consultations for admitted patients or ED patients may also be included
  • A Monday through Friday 5 8’s daytime schedule

Qualifications

Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in CT is required. Eligibility to be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required for Nurse Practitioners. 2 year of practice experience, preferably in breast surgery, plastic surgery, or another surgical specialty, is required. Recent new grad Nurse Practitioners with 3 plus years of RN breast surgery or plastic surgery experience may be considered.
