Job Summary

This role will be responsible for collection, implementation, maintenance and analysis of large data sets originating from electronic medical record, Premier, and REDCap.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Abstraction of large data sets from the electronic medical record through both the creation of appropriate automatic abstraction software and when needed manual abstraction. 

Ensure the collection of all relevant data for ongoing quality and research efforts

Create and organize databases for ongoing and forthcoming retrospective and prospective studies and clinical trials and for all ongoing clinical quality and safety initiatives

Identify infrastructure to collect data for ongoing and new studies

Update databases as needed

Creation of appropriate analysis for all ongoing quality efforts and research studies under the supervision of the research director

Qualifications

Education

Master Degree

Experience

One year related work experience [clinical or administrative or combination]

Experience with the following: EMRs, EPIC, data warehouse, CUBE, Caboodle, RedCap, Excel, data analysis, Premier, EPSi, financial analysis, longitudinal patient tracking

Ability to manually abstract of large data sets from the electronic medical record.

Ability to conduct automated abstraction of large data sets from the electronic medical record through the use and creation of appropriate automatic abstraction software.
