Job Summary:

The Phlebotomist supports all sections of the hospital laboratory through proper phlebotomy techniques as well as proper specimen accessioning, processing and related activities. Obtain blood specimens from patients by using venipuncture. Performs various testing procedures according to established laboratory procedures in the lab. Assures that adequate inventory is on hand to perform patient care duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus 1 year phlebotomist experience required.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred
