The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.
Participates in the design, development and on-going monitoring of the Epic Revenue Cycle Work Queues, which may integrate throughout the hospital enterprise to provide business solutions to customers. This position will report to a Manager.
Advises and consults with customers both internal and across the hospital enterprise by developing and maintaining a knowledge and understanding of the departments WQs in order to ensure controls and functionality is in place to maintain streamlined workflows and prevention of unresolved Work Queue issues.
Analyzes department needs, translates requirements into program design; develops, tests and implements creative solutions to assist the department with meeting business objectives.
Collaborates with Information Services team to ensure developed WQs are compatible with overall Hospital systems requirements, standard and hardware specifications.
Develops and maintains documentation of WQ controls and management expectations and continued optimization of Revenue Cycle WQ dashboards
May recognize abnormal reporting patterns and initiates corrective action where required and within scope of knowledge and expertise.
Works collaboratively as a team member with user groups both within and across the hospital system; shares resources, information, tools and ideas.
Initiates self-development by maintaining a high degree of business function knowledge and current technologies and seeks opportunities to educate end-users and peers to promote a continuous learning environment.
May develop appropriate linkage by integrating department systems with other systems to ensure efficiency and facilitate flow of information across the hospital enterprise.
Works independently by assuming project leadership providing the highest quality of system consulting in order to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
