At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years. We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual
In this division of Hartford Healthcare, the Business Office Manager is responsible for the operation of the Jefferson House business office and reception department including direct supervision of account analysts and receptionists. Advises the Executive Director in budget management, collections and payable accounting and maintains a systematic set of records for all account receivable transactions.
Partners with finance in directing the accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care industry, and as may be directed by the Executive Director.
