The Assistant Radiation Safety Officer assists the HHC Radiation Safety Officer in support of the Radiation Protection Programs throughout Hartford Healthcare Hospital Facilities. Responsibilities for this position include but, are not limited to the following:
•High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in Radiological Technology or Medical Imaging; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years as an X Ray Technologist; Preferably 5 years in CT Imaging or 5 yers in Fluoroscopy Imaging
Licensure, Certification, Registration
•Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
•Active State of Connecticut Certification in Radiologic Technology
