Physician - Emergency Medicine - Per Diem / Moonlighter
The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital which provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Backed by a talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.
The Physician shall employ the principles of emergency care for life/limb threats, resuscitation and stabilization, triage, and diagnosis and disposition. Chart all patient transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures. May supervise Physician’s Assistants to assure compliance of all applicable regulations. Communicate and work with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high quality medical treatment and client service.

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (preferred) or Board Certification or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice
Degree of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from a U.S. accredited
Previous experience in Industrial Medicine, Emergency Medicine or General Practice. Preferred.
Current license to practice medicine in the State
