population and participates in the surgical and medical management of
patients to achieve and/or maintain optimal health status, manage
disease and reduce risk of illness.
will include, patient management and crisis intervention on the
surgical and critical care units primarily including,but not limited to,
the pre and post kidney and liver transplant and end stage organ
failure patient population, as well as discharge planning, and
in-patient and emergency department consultations.
- This position may require
first-assisting in the operating room and skill development with
procedures such as dialysis access and central venous catheter line
placements, liver and renal transplant biopsies, and paracentesis
position also requires handling after-hours patient calls and
triaging the calls as indicated.
is a 40 hour/3 shift position which requires day,evening, night, and
weekend coverage flexibility.

- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred for PA

- Demonstrated ability of positive interaction with the
medical/nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary
team. This position works closely with surgical residents.
