Job Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details: Evening and weekend lead position for patient dining - will support management team in ensuring patient dining program is run properly and support staff during their shifts.

Job Summary: The Lead Catering Associate processes menus, delivers and collects  trays, office clerical duties, par stock: inventory and stocking, works in dish room and performs other related duties in accordance with HACCP guidelines and department policies and procedures.  Assists in ensuring quantity, quality and safe food handling of food production as well as directing Nutrition Service Representatives (NSR) as appropriate.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate slicer, garbage disposal and trash compactor. Previous food services and/or cash handling experience. 
  • Must have basic computer skills.

Critical Success Factors: Lead or supervisory experience highly preferred. Detail oriented. Serve Safe Certification required. Excellent customer service skills. Self-motivated. Ability to carry out responsibilities that conform to hospital core values.  Ability to keep a quick pace and positive attitude.  Professional appearance.
