Our staff of highly trained professionals treats patients holistically, considering family and living situations for the most appropriate care plan.
Hartford HealthCare Independence at Home is growing! We have a number of Per Diem positions providing personal care and housekeeping assistance to clients in their homes.
Job Description: CNA Certified Aides (with CT CNA certification): Providing personal hygiene and grooming care to clients; Assistance with toileting, ambulation, etc.; Providing meals for clients' nutritional needs; Reporting changes in clients' condition to supervisor, or client care coordinator; Performing routine housekeeping and home management duties; Recording each client's care on care plan and submitting care plan in a timely manner; Assisting with providing emotional support for the clients and their families; Assisting with routine therapy exercises; Participating in case conferences as requested; Attends all required in-service education sessions.

Qualifications
Current and Valid CNA License, Certified Nurse's Aide registration with the Connecticut Registry
Experience: Minimum 6 months’ work experience as a CNA after CNA training, preferably in home care, or in a hospital or facility; Good housekeeping and home management skills; Good communication skills and a helpful attitude.
Candidates must have CURRENT and VALID Driver’s License in good standing along with reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
