The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing communications to the organizational, professional and community customers of Hartford HealthCare. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
Provide leadership in project and program planning and marketing strategy development.
Under the direction of the regional/entity Director for the marketing function:
Develop and conduct marketing initiatives in support of assigned service lines and internal clients.
Provide marketing support for strategic community outreach projects, such as service line-focused community lectures and educational programs, collaborating with community outreach coordinators, the call center and other internal or external resources as necessary.
Under the direction of the system Marketing and Branding team:
Work with external advertising agencies and internal resources, as appropriate, to develop marketing concepts and materials.
Work with system Digital team to create, deploy and track digital strategies for marketing projects.
Monitor marketing activity and develops measurement tools to track results of marketing activity; makes recommendations regarding the success or failure of plans and promotions.
Identify and bring forward opportunities for growth, improved visibility and brand recognition, and customer service improvement as they relate to marketing.
Stays up-to-date on competitive activity, marketing trends and regional and national marketing programs related to assigned marketing area.
Create strategies and action plans, fulfills implementation and results evaluation, including establishing and monitoring countermeasures as necessary.
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, marketing communications or a related field
● Three years of progressive experience in planning, marketing, communications, market research or a health-related discipline.
●Demonstrated strength in communicating to multiple audiences: internal (including physicians and providers), external (including customers and potential customers), and experience in dealing with media of all types on breaking stories that may involve complex topics.
