Psychiatrist - Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health
Work where every moment matters.
Every day, almost 20,000 Hartford HealthCare employees come to work with one thing in common: Pride in what we do, knowing every moment matters here. We invite you to become part of Connecticut’s most comprehensive healthcare network.
The Institute of Living, one of the first mental health centers in the U.S., remains one of America’s leading not-for-profit centers for patient care, research and education in the fields of behavioral, psychiatric and addiction disorder. Through its dedicated, experienced and skilled clinicians, the IOL provides patients and their families with the highest quality of personalized care. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services.
The Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic (AOPC) at The Institute of Living is composed of the main and residency clinics. These clinics are an integral component of The Institute of Living's continuum of care. These programs are for patients requiring less structure than an inpatient unit or partial hospitalization program. It is based on the belief that persons experiencing psychiatric disorders should be treated in the least restrictive setting.
Works in collaboration with multidisciplinary team, to provide direct care to a range of Adult Patients. Responsibilities include traditional outpatient psychiatric services and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders.
