Southington Care Center features a state-of-the–art rehab pavilion complete with Aqua Therapy and an Occupational Therapy suite that replicates the home setting. Our staff promotes quality of life while fostering maximum well-being, with a wide range of wellness programs.
The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse in their day-to-day recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal,state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that our medical records are maintained in an informative and descriptive manner.
Qualifications
Two years experience in administrative support, preferably in a healthcare setting
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications, affinity to learn new applications
A basic knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practice
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
