The Institute of Living, one of the first mental health centers in the U.S., remains one of America’s leading not-for-profit centers for patient care, research and education in the fields of behavioral, psychiatric and addiction disorder. Through our dedicated, experienced and skilled clinicians, we provide patients and their families with the highest quality of personalized care. Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services. This position is located in the Clinical Trials Unit, which focuses on pre-market psychiatric medication trials.

 

Job Summary

Assists in implementing and maintaining will-defined research protocols in accordance with hospital, sponsor and regulatory guidelines with the goals of contributing to the advancement of medical therapeutic and diagnostic techniques. Reports to higher level research personnel. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in appropriate discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence with patient related measurements and high degree of accuracy with respect to documentation and data collection.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail yet use good judgment in seeking advice when necessary.
  • Ability to use time efficiently.
  • Excellent organization and problem solving skills.
