Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department making recommendations and assisting in the coordination of care for patients presenting with behavioral health and substance abuse needs while working collaboratively with the emergency department.   Responds to crisis calls.  In this per diem role, you will provide variable shift coverage based on availability - Minimum of 16 hours/month. 

***Psychiatric Clinicians are eligible for a Sign-On Bonus in accordance with program guidelines.***

Qualifications

  • Current CT license LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
  • Master’s degree in mental health discipline required
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a psychiatric setting required, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
