Job Schedule: Full Time
Standard Hours: 40
Job Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details: 7am -3pm, 40 hours.

JOB SUMMARY

Utilizing  reports form EPIC, People Soft, Kronos, Mission Lifeline, and other sources, collects data and produces department management reports as directed by ED/EMS leadership.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collection and entry of data for quality initiatives. Types of data collected include time of patient admission, time first seen by doctor, time tests administered, etc.
  • Pulls reports and provides presentable data material (spreadsheets, graphs, etc.)
  • Assists with department Payroll and Kronos to include entering exceptions late punches, worked lunches, etc.) and monitors occurrences, i.e. vacations, absence, tardiness.  
  • Provides office support for ED and EMS leadership team to include composing and typing correspondence and routine confidential documents, processes incoming and outgoing department mail, etc.
  • Monitors staff licenses and certifications. 
  • Types reports and meeting minutes. Circulates as necessary.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of routine department supplies.  Orders supplies for EMS/ED Departments.
  • Answers telephone is a polite and professional manner and communicates appropriate information.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: A minimum of two years general office experience, including data entry.  
Language Skills: Read and write in English

Preferred Requirements
Education: Associate’s Degree
Experience: Medical Terminology and healthcare office administration experience.
