Job Description
The Project Specialist performs a full range of varied, multi-skilled secretarial, clerical, and administrative support that requires creativity, and independent, discretionary judgment. The Project Specialist will routinely work various revenue data sets and complete analyses that will drive business decisions. This Project Specialist works alongside and assists the Operations/Continuous Improvement Managers, Directors and President to perform project management duties that support the initiation, planning, execution and completion of projects. Collaboration will be required with access center, system revenue cycle, finance and operations to achieve success.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, operations, administration, or similar field or equivalent work experience required.
• Two years previous healthcare revenue cycle experience required.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools preferred.
• Microsoft Excel experience required, Certification preferred.
