Shift Details: Shifts will vary within the Hartford Region between 7am-7pm. Main Clinics: Enfield, Bloomfield, Avon, Windsor, Granby

Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network is the premier rehabilitation provider in Connecticut. We provide rehabilitation services across the continuum - acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, sub-acute rehabilitation, homecare, outpatient centers, and in community settings such as senior centers, work sites, and schools and colleges. We offer over 30 outpatient locations with a variety of specialists, including oncology, women's health, sports medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech language, we are known for our commitment to high quality, customer focused outcomes. 

 

Job Description

Our current opening is for a per diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for coverage for our outpatient locations in Enfield, Bloomfield, Avon, Windsor, and Granby. Flexible shifts between the hours of 7am-7pm. 

Under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant administers Physical Therapy treatments to patients. Provides assistance to the Physical Therapist by supplying objective measures to be utilized by the Physical Therapist in evaluation of patient’s level of function and determination of treatment strategies.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Physical Therapy Assistant Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school, Associates degree required.
  • Connecticut registration required.
