Natchaug Hospital is Eastern Connecticut’s leading provider for children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and substance abuse addictions. We offer a variety of programs including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment for court-involved teenage girls, geriatric services, clinical day treatment schools and chemical dependency services. Job Summary

The dietitian is responsible for the direct and indirect nutrition care of clients. Assists in the coordination of nutrition activities with the medical, nursing and dietary staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• Current State of Connecticut licensure as Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

• Minimum 1 to 3 years clinical experience required

• Experience with psychiatric clients preferred.

• Ability to read, write and speak English and to follow oral and written directions.

• Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills required.
