Hartford HealthCare Rehabilitation Network is the premier rehabilitation provider in Connecticut. We provide rehabilitation services across the continuum - acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, sub-acute rehabilitation, homecare, outpatient centers, and in community settings such as senior centers, work sites, and schools and colleges. Overview
Hartford Healthcare St. Vincent’s Medical Center Rehabilitation is currently seeking an experienced general rehab and Lymphedema therapist to join the outpatient team in our new West Haven clinic. This Occupational Therapist (OT) independently evaluates, formulates treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, restore and remediate - to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. This position will also require some program development, physician relationship building and community marketing. This therapist will interact with rehabilitation professionals throughout the HHC system of care to ensure that best practices are followed in the provision of care. Experience in cancer care and multidisciplinary collaboration is highly valued. Data will be analyzed and utilized to improve patient outcomes, and the clinician will partner with program managers to implement, enhance, and optimize clinical programs.
