Job Summary

Is responsible in assisting the Supervisor with on-going quality management of the Community Support / Recovery Pathways Programs. Works directly with CSP/RP Supervisor in the maintenance of all required program documentation and records necessary to ensure effective service delivery.  Assesses client’s needs, plans and links appropriate services, advocates for and monitors progress toward goals. Serves as liaison to CSS, clinical program and other community providers.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Assists supervisor with coordination and daily operations of the CSP/RP Program.
  2. Carries a caseload of 10 clients. Monitors client’s needs to ensure effective service delivery and progress toward goals.
  3. Completes all initial Functional Assessments and Recovery Plans.
  4. Plans and organizes psycho-educational groups and family education groups.
  5. Facilities morning meetings and weekly Intergraded Team Meetings.
  6. Ensures that CSP/RP Functional Assessments and Recovery Plans are completed in timely manner in addition to overseeing tracking sheets.
  7. Assists and provides feedback to supervisor regarding the maintenance of all program-related and administrative data/reports, statistical records and other data collection activities, such auditing charts, as specified by Rushford for the CSP/RP Program.
  8. Participates in the screening, interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of Community Support/ Recovery Pathways staff members. Assists with orientation for new staff members and participates in any necessary disciplinary processes.
  9. May perform other duties as deemed necessary.


  • Bachelor’s degree in a mental health or human service discipline.
  • Requires current, valid Connecticut driver’s license. Must qualify for Public Service License.
  • Previous work experience with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Basic working knowledge of personal computers and software applications.
  • Experience facilitating groups
