The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital, we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, The Hospital of Central Connecticut provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life.
The Annual Gifts Development Officer is responsible for developing, organizing and implementing a comprehensive Annual Giving program that will increase participation and financial support to the Hartford Healthcare Central Region. This position will create and sustain relationships with the goal of advancing the messages of the HHC Central Region through the effective management and support of the Annual Giving Program. The position will also oversee philanthropy and donor communications through hospital websites, philanthropy newsletters, and other collateral materials.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Bilingual a plus
Three years of progressive fundraising or related experience
Demonstrated success in soliciting and acquiring gifts, preferably in a healthcare setting
Responsible for developing, organizing and implementing all aspects of a comprehensive Annual Giving program. In addition, oversees philanthropy and donor communications through hospital websites, philanthropy newsletters, and other collateral materials.
