Performs a variety of physical therapy aide duties to assist the therapists in the direct provision of patient care under physical therapist supervision and in the preparation of the department in maintaining readiness for patient care. Patient care duties include but are not limited to: Lifting, transferring and ambulating patients with varied diagnoses and disabilities.  Perform a variety of receptionist duties: answering telephones, greeting and scheduling patients and entering charges in support of the department.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school education required.

• Computer skills required.

• Administrative experience preferred.

• Patient care experience preferred.
