Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Sitter will provide constant observation on a patient who is in danger of causing harm to themselves or others if left unattended. When direct observation is not required, candidate must be willing to perform other duties as requested by Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor or designee. Will be required to float to other units as needed. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and the health care team members

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent required.
