Assures provision of quality nutritional care to hospital patients by assessing nutritional status and developing care plan in conjunction with medical and nursing personnel. Monitors patients' ongoing nutritional status. Provides nutritional instruction to patient, families and various community groups. Collects quality improvement data and evaluates it to provide quality nutritional service. Provides guidance and direction to diet technicians in performance of daily work activities. Reports to the Director.
Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics. Current Registered Dietitian with American Dietetic Association Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current CT Dietitian Licensure required. Minimum 1 to 3 years clinical experience.
