Job Description:

Manages Inventory Services & Vendor Relations function for the Operating Room to ensure proper materials are available based on patient and inventory needs. Leads supply/inventory management services for OR specialty equipment and inventory needed to perform various surgical procedures. Operational leadership of vendor management and oversight of medical device vendors. Partners directly with physicians and clinical staff to evaluate products (based on Physician requests), determine clinical efficacy and work with vendor to identify best option for given clinical situations if materials/implants/instruments are no longer available. Consults with OR leadership to ensure vendors are present to support cases and equipment arrives in a timely manner.


  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Associate’s degree in business preferred
  • 3 years previous experience with Central Sterile Procedures materials management and/or purchasing
  • Leveraging clinical quality value analysis to evaluate/present supply requests
  • Experience in PeopleSoft
  • Inventory management.
