The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute (HHC CI) is a pioneering member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Alliance. Through the bi-directional collaboration facilitated by this partnership, community providers are better positioned to provide state-of-the-art, evidence-based cancer care to improve the lives of cancer patients through collaborative research, care standards, and innovative program development. The Program Director, Cancer Care Delivery and Disparities Research is responsible for the development, coordination, support, and conduct of Cancer Care Delivery and Disparities Research (CCDDR) for The Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute. CCDDR focuses on the quality and cost effectiveness of cancer care, patient-oriented outcomes, and identifying and eliminating barriers to care, especially related to racial/ethnic/socioeconomic disparities and social determinants of health. The CCDDR research program is part of our overall Cancer Research Program. The Program Director reports to the Director of Oncology Research and works collaboratively with the Medical Director of Cancer Care Delivery and Disparities Research.
