We offer a wide range of programs including Acute Care and Evaluation, Residential Addiction Treatment, Individual, Group & Family Therapy, Intensive Outpatient programs and Community Support Programs. Job Summary

Oversees activities under the Prevention Grant Funded Programs. Ensures that programs are utilizing Best Practices and that grant requirements are fulfilled.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Operate prevention programs (drugs, mental health, vaping, etc.), including direct service to provide school and/or community-based services per grant objectives
  2. Provide support to Prevention staff (training, education etc.)
  3. Communicate goals and objectives of the grant to staff and monitor progress throughout the year
  4. Collaborate with staff and management to maintain staffing schedules to ensure coverage to meet grant goals and objectives
  5. Implement policies consistent with the State Standards for Prevention in collaboration with other Prevention staff members
  6. Maintain records in accordance with Program requirements (e.g. monthly statistical reports, performance-based prevention criteria, pre and post-testing, and group topics)
  7. Design and implement programs and activities that foster prevention Best Practices
  8. Attend various community organization events and meetings to partner with them in the grant services
  9. Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or social work
  • Five years’ experience working in Prevention field

  • Previous experience working on DMHAS Prevention grants

  • Experience serving on state and local prevention coalitions;

  • Experience working directly with high-risk adolescents, parents and teachers

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of age and cultural groups
