Work where every moment matters.
Every day, over 30,000 Hartford HealthCare colleagues come to work with one thing in common: Pride in what we do, knowing every moment matters here. We invite you to become part of Connecticut’s most comprehensive healthcare network.
The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.
Integrated Care Partners (ICP) is a physician-led, clinically integrated health care network whose mission is to assist our members in providing the highest quality care at the most reasonable cost for our patients in the current, rapidly changing medical environment.
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Provider Relations Specialist professional with initiative and the desire to be a key contributor to develop the Provider Relations team, working with Practices across regions. Working closely with senior leadership, the Provider Relations Specialist is responsible for the implementation of strategies to enhance provider relations, respond to member service needs and build market share. The Provider Relations Specialist will work collaboratively with key service lines, departments and programs, as well as other affiliates to maximize physician utilization and satisfaction.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare experience in inpatient, outpatient, or private practice setting, or with an Insurance company, with strong business development skills. Experience as a Practice Manager or working with a physician practice site and/or hospital setting is a plus, but is not required
