The Administrative Services Manager is responsible for the daily operations of all aspects of non-clinical, administrative activities to include registration, scheduling, telephone access, insurance verification, authorizations, charge capture, budgetary monitoring and financial assistance.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensures that personnel within each function are operating in such a manner that productivity, accuracy, customer service skills, and regulatory requirements are maintained at the highest level.  
  • Directs the work to ensure the overall workflow offers an optimal patient experience and is managed in a safe and efficient manner.  
  • Responsible for hiring, training/coaching, assigning and directing work of staff and evaluating staff in the department. Ensure ongoing development of staff in conjunction with education and other disciplines.
  • Maintains and manages appropriate staffing, establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with other departments.
  • Assist in the development and training of staff related to policies and procedures, and standard work to support continuous improvement.  Develop and implement quality assurance programs for the department. 
  • Monitors and supports key business outcomes to include growth, service excellence, and staff performance, achievements of overall short and long term goals of the departments, the organization, the Cancer Institute and the system as a whole.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


  • Supervisory experience, management experience and prior physician practice experience required. 
  • Oncology and Radiology experience strongly preferred       .
