The Director will lead the philanthropic program for both The Hospital
of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center, as well as direct the
Volunteer Services program consisting of over 400 volunteers. Working in
conjunction with hospital leadership, the Director will design and implement
fund-raising campaigns by building relationships, soliciting gifts, acknowledging
donors, and effectively communicating information to donors, prospects, and
relationships and increase donations in a community-focused approach.
Design and implement fund-raising campaigns using direct mail, personal
solicitation, involvement of businesses and organizations, appeals to
philanthropic organizations and planned giving through estate planning,
bequests, trusts, etc.

ongoing evaluation of the programs and services delivered by volunteers
and implement improvements as necessary.

Degree Public Administration, Public Affairs, Business Administration or
other closely related field is required
plus years in leadership experience in fundraising, public affairs,
marketing, communications or other closely related field
success in capital campaigns and planned giving
in leading teams and programs with organization-wide impact
in leading successful fundraising
initiatives to support organizational goals and objectives
