Shift Details:

Basic Purpose of the Position:

 

-To manage and be responsible for budgetary/financial reconciliation of the clerical/clinical support staff functions and their related components for both the regional certified and Agency wide non certified business to ensure smooth operational flow and successful performance indicator outcomes

                                                           

In general, most of the time will be spent in the following activities:

                 

-Manages workflow of assigned areas to insure compliance of Agency procedures and policies while meeting established time frames, productivity and quality measures

 

-Insures that workflow processes/procedures are in compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies standards and lead to successful performance indicator outcomes. 

 

-Analyzes Agency compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies requirements in addition to the productivity and quality measures as related to the support area through implementation of audit processes

 

-Develops, implements and manages budget for areas of responsibility

          

-Coordinates with Regional Certified and Agency wide Non Certified Administration in the development and implementation of procedures, policies, and guidelines. Works with clinical teams to coordinate support staff coverage inclusive of the escort/translator function.         

         

-Responsible for the coordination and timely completion of month end closing of all related areas

                 

-Participates in project teams as appropriate

 

-Identifies the professional development and needs and competency of staff

 

-Determines staffing needs and coordinates hiring to meet service demands

 

-Participates in new technology, preceptor and student education as related to areas of responsibility                         

           

 

In addition, the position involves other duties such as:

 

Will actively participate in the performance improvement process known as

H3W

               

 Performs other related Agency and administrative functions as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education: BS or equivalent degree in general business; or a combination of college and comparable working experience in areas of job responsibility

 

Experience: Five (5) years working experience in a managerial role; preferably in a health care environment

 

Skills: Computer systems and programs
