The Director of Human Centered Care is responsible for leading the Human Experience Programs within the Behavioral Health Network of Hartford HealthCare. The Director for Human Centered Care will act as the senior leader and principle improvement coach while being a permanent member of the corresponding executive leadership team. The Director will be an expert in team member engagement, clinical best practice, service excellence, performance improvement, and will have direct accountability for integrating with and partnering with organizational leadership to improve outcomes and develop a culture of excellence.
Methods used will include:
•Developing new and innovative approaches to providing exceptional care
•Hardwiring proven quality improvement strategies and best practices
•Building teamwork and collaboration among leaders and team members to drive outcomes
•Role modeling, inspiring, motivating and coaching the healthcare team and its leaders to live the ideal HHC culture and values
•Effectively directing resources to positively impact the human experience and achieve sustainable results
The Director will report directly to the HHC System Director for the Office of Experience and will be a key member of HHC’s Human Experience Team. As a member of this team, they will participate in the planning and development of overall experience programs and the training methodologies used by the system as a whole. #HHC
Master Degree (Master’s Degree may be substituted with the CPXP Credential and 4 Years of Patient/Customer Experience Leadership or Consulting experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience within in a Healthcare setting
Minimum of 7 years Management / Leadership experience
CPXP (Certified Patient Experience Professional)
