Job Duties :

  • Identifies opportunities and leads strategy development of new and/or enhanced business opportunities resulting in meeting/exceeding sales targets and furthering assigned customer relationships to result in profitable outcomes.
  • Profiles referral sources to maximize opportunities and identify key home care needs using customer relationship management software.
  • Maintains ongoing contact with IAH key management staff in other business units as it relates achieving business growth targets.
  • Maintains/grows business relationships in assigned channel that results in growth in profitable business opportunities for win/win outcomes, cross-selling full portfolio of services offered at Independence at Home with effective results and value-based interactions to meet and/or exceed measurable outcomes.
  • Utilizes customer relationship management software for documentation of sales activities and analysis of customer utilization data to plan strategic account interactions.
  • Participates in implementation of clinical initiatives or pilot projects within assigned channel.
  • Participates in learning opportunities that develop and enhance product knowledge of IAH programs and services including business development meetings, sales training, shadowing, coaching, etc.
  • Analyzes data and reports to identify trends in customer referral/admission patterns as well as potential growth opportunities within accounts
  • Incorporates sales model, account management sales training, and customer relationship management tools when planning for and meeting with all assigned referral sources.
  • Participates in communication huddles, coaching sessions, and giving/receiving feedback with BD management, Intake staff and peers.
  • Develops annual account plans; reviews account plans throughout the year to monitor progress against goal and the execution of account strategies.  Updates plans as needed.
  • Participates in, and leads as appropriate, ongoing communication with central and regional intake teams.  Participates in special projects and performs other related duties, as required.
  • Conducts educational presentations, serves on external committees and makes one on one referral development calls to hospitals, physicians, ECF’s, ALF’s, and community agencies
  • Conducts Physician education regarding regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Conducts competitor analysis at regular intervals and identifies emerging trends
  • Expert in the ACO arena an able to form collaborative relationships
  • Ability to organize community outreach and physician events.  Ability to organize and execute against sales blitzes


BA, BS or previous marketing experience

  • Three years of experience in marketing, clinical liaison, or network account management. Home care experience preferred. Promotes excellence in customer service through feedback and excellent issue resolution practice, both internally and externally
