Job Description

Within the context of the Nursing Professional Practice Framework, the LPN provides quality and cost-effective direct care for patients/families within a unit, service or other primary area of practice.

• Performs direct patient care for all patients requiring urodynamics testing 
• Responsible for testing and collaboration with provider during procedure
• Educating patients and families about the urodynamics testing, pre and post expectations an explanations of any clinical outcomes.
• Obtains, documents and reports out on urodynamics testing within EPIC along with providers on a daily basis.
• Collaborates with Radiology Tech to perform video urodynamics for a more comprehensive test for patients
• Extensive training will be provided which may include travel to other offices within the Urology Service line. 
• Travel required between offices as needed

Qualifications

·        Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license required. Medical/Surgical office experience preferred.

·        Specialization and/or specific work experience may be required
