Programs are offered for children, adolescents and adults struggling with mental illness as well as offering services specializing in Anxiety, Eating Disorders, and Geriatric Services.

Job Summary

The MAA position is responsible for full range of administrative support in a child and adolescent medical office setting providing duties including scheduling appointments, calling pharmacies, billing patients, verifying precertification’s, triaging phone calls from patients and guardians, physicians and insurance companies.  The role also includes assistance with re-licensing with the state of Connecticut.  Maintaining patient and business confidentiality to ensure that the needs of the internal and external customers are met is expected. The Child and Adolescent clinic works to provide exceptional patient care to youth and families in the region


  • High School Diploma required. Medical Administrative Assistant certification preferred
  • One to two years’ experience in a medical office setting Knowledge of medical terminology required
  • Basic keyboarding skills with proficiency in use of personal computer programs
  • Knowledge of medical coding preferred i.e.: CPT and ICD9 coding
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team
