The Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator assists Pharmacy leadership with the development, implementation and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services across Hartford Healthcare to provide optimal pharmaceutical care in an appropriate, efficacious, safe and cost-effective fashion. Oversees the daily operation of Clinical Pharmacy Services and formulary management and coordinates clinical educational activities to the pharmacy staff and other caregivers.

Qualifications

Education:

·        PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. OR – licensed Pharmacists prior to 2002 Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.

·        Completion of an accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency training program preferred

Experience:

·        Three (3) or more year’s health-system pharmacist experience.

Licensure, Certification, Registration

·        Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible to receive licensure within 45 days.
