Standard Hours: 20
Job Shift: Shift 1
Shift Details: Resident Care Support Associate 20 hours per week 9am-1pm, EOW, transport, stock, resident interactions, environmental cleaning.

Southington Care Center features a state-of-the–art rehab pavilion complete with Aqua Therapy and an Occupational Therapy suite that replicates the home setting. Our staff promotes quality of life while fostering maximum well-being, with a wide range of wellness programs.

The Resident Care Support Associate will provide basic support to Residents as well as Certified Nursing Assistants following established procedures and as directed by Supervisor. Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and supervisors to provide a culture of resident-centered care that includes Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, Activities of Daily Living, psychosocial needs, and ensuring the privacy and security of residents.

  • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
  • Ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
  • Have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to deal with resident’s unique needs.
  • Able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
