We provide a vital core of inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, and emergency services in a caring and personal community setting in Northeastern Connecticut.

Position Summary 

Hours vary between 7am-7pm with two evenings per week required.
Receptionist Aide performs a variety of physical therapy aide duties to assist the therapists in the direct provision of patient care under physical therapist supervision and in the preparation of the department in maintaining readiness for patient care. Patient care duties include but are not limited to: Lifting, transferring and ambulating patients with varied diagnoses and disabilities including obese patients up to 400 lbs. or more.

Also performs a variety of receptionist duties including but not limited to: answering telephones, greeting and scheduling patients, registering patients, insurance authorization and reimbursement as well as a variety of clerical work including typing in support of the department.

Qualifications


• Equivalent to high school education required. 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred. 
• Computer skills required, typing skills 40 WPM. 
• Administrative experience preferred. 
• Patient care experience preferred. 
• 1 year on the job training in order to become fully proficient in all phases of assigned duties.
